Composition principle

Network cameras generally consist of lenses, images, sound sensors, A/D converters, controller network servers, external alarms, and control interfaces.

Lens

As the front-end part of the network camera, the lens has a fixed aperture, auto iris, auto zoom, auto zoom, and the like, which is the same as the analog camera.

Image Sensor

The CCD image sensor is composed of a photodiode arranged in two dimensions on a single crystal silicon substrate and a transmission circuit thereof. Photodiodes convert light into electrical charge that is transmitted and output via a conversion circuit.

In general, devices that transmit good image quality use CCD image sensors, while products that focus on power consumption and cost choose CMOS image sensors. But new technologies are overcoming the inherent weaknesses of each type of body while retaining certain features that are appropriate for a particular application. This part is the same as the analog camera. The sound sensor is either a pickup or a microphone, just like the traditional microphone.

A/D converter

The function of the A/D converter is to convert analog signals such as images and sounds into digital signals. The image sensor module based on CMOS mode has an interface for direct digital signal output, and does not require an A/D converter; and the image sensor module based on CCD mode has an interface of direct digital output, and does not need an A/D converter, but due to this module Mainly for analog camera design, only analog output interface, so A/D conversion is required.
